Why I Started Morrison Marketing (and Why That Matters to Your Business)

If you own a small business, you’ve probably felt this before:

You know marketing matters.

You know you should be posting.

But it constantly falls to the bottom of the list.

I started Morrison Marketing because I saw too many good businesses struggling online—not because they weren’t good at what they do, but because they didn’t have the time, energy, or interest to become full-time marketers too.

Honestly? I get it.

I Didn’t Start This to Be “Another Agency”

Morrison Marketing wasn’t built to be flashy or corporate.

It was built to be useful.

I work with real business owners who are juggling a hundred things already. My job is to take marketing off your plate and make sure what does go out actually sounds like you and speaks to the right people.

No copy-and-paste captions.

No generic strategies.

No “post this because everyone else is.”

What I Actually Do

I help small businesses show up online in a way that feels natural and consistent.

That includes:

  • Managing social media so you don’t have to stress about it

  • Writing content that sounds human, not salesy

  • Helping you clarify what you do and how to talk about it

  • Building simple strategies that fit your business and your schedule

Marketing shouldn’t feel confusing or forced. If it does, something’s off.

Local Businesses Deserve Better Marketing

I’m based in Morehead, Kentucky, and I work primarily with businesses in Eastern Kentucky and surrounding areas.

Local businesses are the backbone of our communities, but they’re often expected to compete online with companies that have entire marketing teams. That’s not realistic—and it’s not fair.

My goal is to give small businesses professional, thoughtful marketing without the big-agency nonsense.
